At Great Corby School and Nursery, we believe some of life's most valuable learning takes place beyond the classroom. Our residential programme is a key part of our enrichment offer, carefully designed to help children develop confidence, resilience, independence and a sense of adventure as they grow through school.
Each residential experience provides opportunities for children to challenge themselves, try something new and build lasting memories with their friends. Through these experiences, children learn more about themselves, the world around them and the positive contribution they can make to their community.
Our residential programme reflects both our school values and our commitment to helping every child Explore, Discover and Learn.

Religion and Worldviews
Why do we teach Religion and Worldviews?
At Great Corby School and Nursery, we believe that Religion and Worldviews enables children to Explore, Discover and Learn about themselves, others and the diverse world in which they live. Through studying different religions, beliefs and worldviews, children develop curiosity, empathy and respect for people whose experiences and perspectives may differ from their own.
We encourage children to ask meaningful questions, explore different ways of thinking and reflect upon their own values and beliefs. Through discussion, enquiry and reflection, children learn to understand how religion and worldviews influence individuals, communities and cultures, both locally and globally.
We want our children to leave Great Corby as thoughtful, respectful and open-minded individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to modern Britain and the wider world.
